The head office near Women and Children Hospital in Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, serves as the nerve center for procuring and distributing essential drugs and medical equipment throughout the state. The office design balances governmental functionality with modern efficiency, housing multiple divisions including Essential Drug Division, Equipment Procurement, Quality Control, and the Kerala Emergency Medical Services Project (KANIV 108 Ambulance Project).
